We love fishing, and we love fast boats, so you can imagine our excitement when we received a call from retired Jacksonville Sheriff’s Deputy Jeff Lentz regarding his 35′ Contender sports fisherman named the “C-Tender”. This gorgeous and custom built Contender was a dream boat equipped with triple Mercury 350’s, Simrad touch screen controls, and even auto pilot.
It was Jeff’s longtime dream to retire from JSO and become a full time captain of his own charter company. And so The Thin Blue Line Fishing Co. of St. Augustine was formed. Jeff and his son and first mate Kenny, an active JSO deputy, were really excited about branding their boat for advertising purposes. Originally, Captain Jeff was just interested in a large format decal featuring his TBL Fishing Company branding, which was created by renown local Jacksonville artist BULVEGA. It wasn’t long until son Kenny convinced his father that a wrap would be the best way to establishing their brand – and creating interest in their unique charter fishing experience.
Inspired by the logo created by BULVEGA, we worked to develop a colorful theme that represented the TBL brand and addressed all the print production setup requirements. The finished boat wrap was installed on site at the C-Tenders home port, the St. Augustine Ship Yard. “We always enjoy seeing the clients reaction, said VP of operations Adam Canni, and this delivery was no exception. “It’s always awesome when a client becomes a friend and Kenny and Jeff are more than customers they are like family” Since the wrap installation my son and I enjoyed our first fishing expedition and look forward to our next deep sea charter with Captain Jeff and First Mate Kenny.
